Not a diet book, eh? IS a diet book. Of the highest degree. Calorie counting and tracking? Tick. Focus on macros? Tick. Being 'allowed' to eat if it fits within macros? Tick. Encouraging you to ignore physical hunger to maintain an energy deficit? Triple tick. Normal, healthy people don't ignore genuine, actual physical hunger. This is how eating disorders begin.
At least he encorages you to be flexible. Thats why it was two stars, not one.....
Theres many books out there about Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size which, whilst not perfect, may give you better wellbeing in the long run.
