What a wonderful, gentle crime drama. Great characters, good stories and BEST OF ALL- Nicola Walker. Thank goodness she's back on my telly. I love her acting style.

Watched the first episode. Didn't realize I'd missed the second because I cared so little. Started to watch the third and saw Pip threatening someone with a knife sounding like an East End gangster a la Reggie Kray.
Just because Tommy Shelby was a great character does not mean you should turn all your anti-heroes into him. Can the writer do anything other than violence I wonder. This adaptation/mockery of Great Expectations would suggest not. Shameful waste of money.

Some of its really funny and smart. Georgia is a great character but my God that daughter is a whiny little so and so.
