Ash Ali

No grit, big spectacle lots of CGI animals. Lost its rawness. Im a big fan of the first one, but this lacked any character development and felt flat on the story line. It felt like a repeat of the first in the first two acts but with dumber and less developed characters and personality. The third act felt rushed and changed up a bit. I didn't root for or feel for anybody! Denzel was good, but lead actors were non involving. The dr/healer guy had more depth than the leads and he was in it for 10 seconds. The Hans Zimmer music inter woven into the scenes was my favourite bit. The use of nostalgic lines from the first movie are misplaced. A real shame.
