The first legal show I watched as a young girl in New Zealand in the early 1960s was Perry Mason,and I have been an avid fan of court dramas ever since. Perhaps that's because I attended the trial of the second to last man to hang in New Zealand, admittedly in mum's uterus! She was the court stenographer!. I love All Rise, I love the friendship between Mark and Lola, and the number of strong female characters. Long may Judge Lola Carmichael preside!
