My wife and I had watched every episode because we loved the talent and craziness of the show. I say we watched every episode, that is, until Ken reacted like an immature child after Rudy Giuliani was unmasked. We loved Ken’s antics and behavior through all the seasons. He often showed a heartfelt emotional side that was refreshing to see. But his behavior during when Mr. Giuliani’s was on the show was despicable. The Masked Singer is an entertainment show, and politics should never show its face. Ken might do well to remember that 50% of America do not share his social or political views. If it weren’t for the 50% of Americans that Ken apparently despises, The Masked Singer would not have the success it has. Americans watch the show, not just liberals. We have made a decision to never watch The Masked Singer again, unless either Ken is fired or is willing to make a public apology to Mr. Giuliani and the audience for his divisive behavior.
America is in a dangerous time in its history with all the lies and hate being spread on the news and social media. I though we had a safe place to enjoy an evening of fun and laughter, that was free from the partisan politics. But Ken ruined that. I want Ken to think about this. What if a singer was unmasked, and we saw Hillary Clinton standing up on the stage? And right before your eyes, half the audience started booing, or worse yet, got up and walked out? How do you think she would feel? How would you feel? I hope you would feel as disgusted as I felt when you walked off the show. You gave a black eye to the show, and even worse, to your character. I will still give the show 5 stars because no one else (staff, crew, and entertainers) deserves to suffer from your humiliating behavior.
Respectfully,
Dr. Rickey Coleman.
