Yet again netflix controlling what you watch, placed at no.1 for unknown reasons. Devil in ohio is another lackluster series based around a family with 3 kids, 2 teenagers and a younger child. With an external influence this time being a runaway girl from a devil worshipping cult the programme has the opportunity to be something dark, serious, violent, truly twisting and gripping but like other series focuses on pointless teen drama and strays away from any real depth. Whether this is to keep the teenagers happy im not sure but every episode screams potential and falls well short and this is before we've even mentioned massive time lapses between each episodes. This series could have easily been compacted into a 5 episode series and still would have struggled to keep much interest. If writers didn't simply focus on aiming for a 2nd series before they've even written a good series we might find that impact. Once again disappointed.
