Very disappointing.
Would advise lovers of the original Gladiator not to bother:
Cast lacked appeal and charisma
Casting reflected strange choices
Acting unconvincing
Sets looked fake held none of magic of the original
So much borrowed from original movie but used effectively

It made me feel defeated.
The characters, the state of Montana….
So many characters with so much potential, all dogged by misery.
I was invested in it because I so badly wanted something positive to happen but it never really did.
