I loved Superman, point blank period. I’ve seen this movie 2x and I still think this was a great movie despite any negative reviews. The plot line is fantastic, casting is on point, and I feel like it truly emulated the feeling of heroism. From Superman to the guy gardner proclaimed justice gang, and even the parts that Lois and the rest of the daily planet play in this movie, they all do their part in saving metropolis. I think James Gunn did an amazing job writing these characters and bringing back a very classic Superman character without playing the injustice card. As a lifetime DC fan, I am truly excited to see what future projects are in store for the new DCU.

If I could give this movie zero stars I would. I am EXTREMELY surprised at the amount of positive reviews this movie has gotten. It is so overly formulated, predictable and corny that’s it’s absolutely ridiculous. From the script, to the acting, the cgi, and overly rushed format of this movie… I’m shocked that anyone is saying that this movie is what marvel needed as a comeback. If anything this movie has shown me that marvel and disney will continue to push out subpar movies even with the rebirth of the mcu. Whoever is in charge of making these movies needs to be fired immediately.
