This show is the perfect balance of realism, intensity, comedy, and drama. The characters are dynamic throughout all six seasons, and it is so fun to watch relationships develop, especially between Lucy and Tim.

I think you have to go into this movie with the knowledge that it will be bizarre, whimsical, and very, very pink, a perfect parallel to most girls’ Barbie games in real life. It is not meant to be taken as facts, it is purely a fun movie! So if you’re looking for every little thing to make sense, it won’t. But if you go into the movie with a positive attitude, I promise you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the powerful messages and emotional attachments our much-beloved Barbie can bring. Greta Gerwig proves again that she can blend the whimsical and funny with the wildly prevalent and deeply nostalgic. From a female perspective, it never sounded preachy, just all too accurate. And of course, Greta made it enjoyable, a little impractical, and amazingly pink, because what thing with the word ‘Barbie’ in it isn’t? Truly a fun experience, and I would definitely recommend it.
