The acting in this show is absolutely wooden. Most of the characters are just reading their lines. Maggie Q is a decent actress and tries to breathe some life into it. I tire of the rehash of 'everybody is against the woman cop'. or 'everybody is against the black woman cop'. You didn't see that in Bosch or Legacy. There wasn't even a lot of it in the Bosch/Ballard books. Why add it to this show?
