Final Destination 6 - Honest Review I watched Final Destination 6 and honestly, I didn’t like it. The effects were cool, sure, but the story completely missed what made the original movies so good. The whole point of Final Destination was the premonitions — seeing how death was coming and trying to escape it. In this new one, it felt more like a fear-based guessing game, where the main character had some kind of magical ability to sense things, but without any real connection to the pattern of death. The suspense and logic from the old movies just weren’t there. In the originals, we knew how people were going to die, and the characters tried to stop it. That’s what kept us on edge. This new version just felt messy and disconnected. The only thing that stayed true was the graphic death scenes and effects — but that’s not enough. Also, what happened to the survivors from the past movies helping the new generation? That was always a cool part of the story — now it’s just gone. Not every movie needs a sequel. Sometimes it’s better to leave things where they ended. This one just didn’t deliver. It used the name Final Destination, but it didn’t feel like one. Rating: 2/5 — great visuals, weak story.

He barely gets mad until the very end — and even then, it’s soft compared to the old days. And that sexy fantasy scene from the first one? Forget it. In today’s world, even a bucket of beer and lingerie makes people cry. They teased it a little, but nothing like before. The funniest part for me was when the car wouldn’t start and the kids and neighbor jumped in to help. That felt like classic Adam Sandler — awkward, chaotic, and real funny. I also thought Benito (Bad Bunny) character was going to be funny. They did try even adding the other guy. But it wasn’t funny. They had all the flavor and made it bland. I love you BB tho! 🫶🏻 But honestly? The ending sucked. Way too much AI, too much tech. Moving floors?, high-tech vibes — that’s not Happy Gilmore. That’s like they tried to mix golf with Black Mirror. 👎 People complained about the cameos (like Eminem), but that’s always been part of Sandler’s movies. I didn’t mind that. What I do mind is that they played it too safe. It felt like they were trying so hard not to offend anyone, they forgot to be funny. ⸻ Final thoughts: They wanted it to feel like the ’90s, but with safety pads and disclaimers. Happy Gilmore was never about being “safe.” That’s why we loved him. This movie tried to be funny in a world that forgot how to laugh. It’s watchable, but it ain’t legendary.
