I stopped watching halfway through the first episode. I thought the acting was wonderful, the cast was perfect, and Anne was great. Then came her big speech about how girls can do anything boys can do and I thought, “Uh oh….” One of my favorite lines from the book and the earlier movie was when Anne said,”Marilla, haven’t you ever been in the depths of despair?” To which Marilla answers, “No, I have not. To despair is to turn your back on God.” I waited after the woke speech about gender equality and sure enough, they took God right out of the movie. I turned it off. The book was an amazing piece of fiction, it cannot be improved upon by adding speeches to further the globalist agenda. To remove God when Marilla and Mathew were Godly people completely changes the story and I don’t care to watch it any further. Sorry Hollywood, no one believes you. Boys and girls are different and girls cannot and should not do everything boys can do. Boys cannot and should not do everything girls can do. God made us that way and it’s ok.

This was a heartbreaking story for everyone involved…beyond heartbreaking, there are no words that can possibly describe losing one child, let alone all of your children gone in a few minutes. I have not heard anything about the possibility of her having a seizure. There are seizures where a person remains conscious but is not aware of their surroundings. This would explain the confusion and also the lack of response. Yet it was never mentioned. Plenty of people have their first seizure as an adult, and it can be impossible to prove after the fact with an autopsy, but to say she was drunk is just not the case. The amount of alcohol in her blood was not enough for her to be incoherent and she was not suicidal. I think it’s probable she had a seizure and it’s a horrific tragedy. Prayers for the families.

Loved the first couple of seasons. For some reason they started to get political in season 3 a bit, then ended the series on a sour, bitter, nasty political note (in Boston, MA.. a blue state, typical liberal lunacy). Sad that this how they choose to end what started out as a fantastic show. RIP.

This show is just plain funny. If you like quirky sarcasm you'll love it. The writers stick to real issues in a nuclear family and don't get political or politically correct. They keep it lighthearted and it's a nice escape. Exactly what a traditional sitcom should be.

Started to read the one star reviews and they are all about people being disappointed that the release date was pushed back. I think that many good things are worth waiting for. It's rare that the sequel to any movie measures up, but this did. It was just as good, possibly better! Awesome movie!!

So I used to love this show, it never got old. Despite the writers desire to insert political views into the last couple of seasons. Why do they insist on trying to alienate 3/4 of their audience? The insurance fraud episode, puhlease. I have to laugh because what doctor with no serious priors would be in jail long enough to dress down and accept visitors. If he was actually even taken in, he would have been released within hours. It's just getting a little crazy. I'm surprised that some of the racist stuff towards white people from the left would even have a white dude getting arrested. Make up your mind liberals.
