At first I wasn't a fan because the humor was like little boy humor. It felt immature and not that funny and kinda dragged on but the movie does a complete 180 halfway and becomes really raw and real and has some funny moments to contrast that. I cried soo much. It was beautiful movie.

It was such a cute movie and super funny! I think majority of people upset are old Bible-thumpers who have no real critique other than it was too diverse that it's unrealistic. Majority of movie creators come from California and as someone who has lived in LA this is perfectly normal here. I didn't even think much of it. But then again we're not as sensitive to things like that. People will not bat an eye showing violence to a child but when it comes to LGBTQ relationship suddenly they care about the movie's rating.
