This is from a true fan. I have watched tron and tron legacy 15-20 times since 2009 when tron legacy was released . Tron ares I feel didn’t belong to the story and the story just progresses without any meaning to it. I don’t feel like it’s the true heir to the legacy as from the cinematics to soundtrack there was something missing in it. Tron had 80s vibe and considering the technology they completely nailed it. Tron legacy again nailed the vfx, story and music by daft punk which in my view is amazing for a 2009 movie. While ares has great vfx the story and connection to the previous stories should have been there as I felt bored and there was no hook. Overall I was just ok with it.
