Based on looking at the one-star reviews, I am utterly confused. The writers and animators worked their selves to the bone to reverse the misunderstanding that they were fat-shaming when they were literally trying to PROMOTE that fat-shaming is wrong. That aside, the characters are a bit generic (some are awfully funny though! I just mean character design) is a bit bland, but this is coming from a small company that isn't as big as Disney and such, so I'm impressed. For those people that say "This movie is fat-shaming, don't let your kids watch it" I'm literally shaking my head the moral and ending of the story is that the looks-obnoxious prince realizes that looks aren't everything and you don't have to be skinny. I'm literally screaming because you missed the bullet. Jeez go back to preschool. Second, it is NOT a rip-off. Clearly you ADULTS don't know about PARODIES. This is a PARODY, meant to flip the idea if what if Snow White had a different appearance, but using that to make a powerful idea of telling kids that fat-shaming is not good, as we go along with the character growth of the prince as he realizes looks don't matter?
