master craft stuff. and so much more than i ever would have expected based on the name and having read literally nothing on it. Mendes draw on all kinds of theatricality, and teh cast fo the Sydney production all superb, and the music and stage and artfully complex movements of objects and perspectives detract not one bit form the gripping character stories from a family of immigrants who has an extradinary empire and pivotal development impact on Amercian indusrtry and financial sytem, beoming number 1, before losing it way, crumbling, (while dancing the twist), and becoming a pure money machine that broke and unwound specaculalry, bringing down so mcuh with it.

Totally out there. Well acted. Sincere. Trippy buzaar journey into a Swedish ritualistic community where the lead faces her demons. Very cathartic. Will push most people boundaries beyond.... Not for prudes. Or easily grossed out. Pretty good arthouse..... Not what most moviegoers will have seen. Holds the tension and premise relentlessly to the end. Stunning set design. Can see how it's a 1 or 5 star movie for people. Not mainstream at all ... But also not Lynchian . No mysteries here. 4.5 stars
