Do not waste your time watching this garbage movie. As someone who has watched all of the purge movies and just watches a lot of movies in general I hated this movie. The plot was non existent until the last half hour, the acting was disgraceful and there was no character development what so ever. Getting through the end of this movie felt more like a chore than a pleasure for my entertainment. There were about 7 different antagonists and the main antagonist wasn't introduced until the last 45 minutes. I am a huge fan of the purge and to sit down for an hour and 45 minutes watching this god awful film it really was like a slap in the face to fans of the purge movies. I would have gotten more entertainment out of watching paw patrol with my 3 year old cousin. Not to mention the fact that this movie was just a sad way of bringing light to their political views. I don't think I will ever watch a new movie with the word purge in it again. If you compare this movie to its predecessors, for example, The Purge Anarchy, it just doesn't even compete. Please take it from me and save your money and not waste it on a sad little movie with garbage characters and plots like this one.
