The best TV series I watched last year. It offers a highly imaginative storytelling of parallel universes, beautifully written and masterfully acted. The casting is also great with each older versions of the actors matching perfectly in nuances by their younger selves or vice versa, whoever comes first. Or in this series, is it even important who came first? The plot is complex as it is interesting, the characters are real as they are twisted. Season 1 has the most exciting direction. Meticulousness in terms of camera movements and characters idly doing their acts in a natural state in single shot scenes which captivated me at the get-go gradually waned right towards seasons 2 and 3 but also gave way to a grander scope in the plot. The series also sustained the eerily dark picturesque cinematography all throughout the three seasons! Amazing!

The love is so heartbreaking and the hate in the time period is too scary. Spanning decades, character development between the two protagonists is exquisitely written, even during each sex scenes. The scenes are made to define each of their pysches during the time that it occurs. The chemistry between Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey is undeniable!
