Too many unnecessary characters, and separate plot threads detract from the source material to distract the audience from a poorly written script. This movie feels like it was written by a second rate script writer or was regurgitated from a generative AI. Also, the recent trend of using music to supplant dialogue only works if it is a song relevant to the target audience. If it is earlier than the 80s, don't do it.
