So disappointing, I loved the first two films but this one should never have been made. Wooden acting and flimsy storyline hashed together.

We were bought surprise tickets for Showman as a xmas gift. I have always loved Derren Brown’s work so was a real treat. Loved the show, feeling exhilarated we talked non stop about all that happened on the tube home. Great night out. Watched the showing on TV to compare and noticed one part was left out: Derren tried to predict who’s partnered with who on stage from the 8 volunteers. None the less it was good to see it again and feel that sense of wonder that Derren brings out.

I only watched this as they have now put English dubbing, subtitles are too distracting and the watcher can miss things while reading the text. I am going to go against the grain. I liked the first season, but into the second season I was confused and thought the plot got more stupid as time went on, this made me lose interest. Wished i had not bothered watching past the first season.
