This series is lighthearted for the most part but it does not go easy on the hard truths. I love how these life lessons and reminders are gently tucked in the story and dialogues in a realistic but non-condescending way. And the manner that the characters approach neighborly correction and reparation indicate maturity, sincerity, and a heartwarming sense of community, highlighting at times character flaws but, more so, character growth. There is no dull moment because the drama draws you in with the stories of the Gongjin villagers where characters are relatable and at some point a reflection of ourselves.
If you are looking for fun romcom and slice-of-life, try watching this drama. Dimples and swoon-worthy directing are a bonus.
