I read That Night by Nidhi Upadhyay and it seemed quite interesting at the start. The plot had potential, but the story felt dragged at certain points.
The entire story of that night in the hostel could have been narrated properly, incident by incident, rather than through scattered confessions in the end. This would have helped the reader clearly visualise what actually happened and what followed next.
I managed to finish it, but the ending was disappointing and lacked the impact I was hoping for.
A shorter version with a stronger conclusion could have made it much better.
