Top notch acting. Loved the performances of the whole cast, especially Bruce Greenwood, Mark Hamill, Carla Gugino, Carl Lumbly, Katie Siegel, and Katie Parker. It's definitely worth the watch if you like horror. It was different and sometimes thought-provoking. I found myself actually rooting for Verna, curious to see how the next awful person was gonna bite the dust. The Poe references are many, I probably missed some of them. The modern twist made it fresh. Well done, Mike Flanagan! I'm now going to go back and read the works of Poe, it's been many and many a year ago since I read them. :) Side note: I was shocked to see the number of 1-star reviews until I read some of them.... looks like bigots/magats decided to troll with thoughtless and unconstructive comments. If you like horror and aren't a bigot, you'll probably like this series. I loved it! Xoxo
