It’s really bad. I had higher expectations for Hilary Duff to be a better actress than how she was in the first episode, which is an important episode to convey the rhythm of the series. It was a mystery to the audience for How I Met Your Mother to have the dad be a…well MYSTERY/more wise grown up voice to the audience capturing us through the series. In this show they start with the stereo typical wine drinking “well equipped life experienced mom” to be so politically correct and be in the politically corrected and politically centered life to be “very careful” how they center their views…to please hypothetical political parties with horrible real life acting. Our friends and my spouse were super annoyed cringing through the first episode. We love “How I Met Your Mother” so this was a disappointment.
