It had been over a decade since I’d watched the original so I did last weekend and I honestly don’t know why it’s so well loved. It’s actually terrible, the acting is non existent and the plot is super thin. So I went last night to see the 2024 Crow staring Bill Stargard, I went in not believing they were remaking the original but rather a re telling of a lover being able to avenge the death of his girlfriend and himself. I liked the back story about how they met and certain things they had in common. It kept my attention the entire film and it had a bit of a John Wick vibe to it. This movie is 1000 times better than the original with the same name. Really glad I was able to catch it in theaters and look forward to watching again on digital.
