SPOILERS I have always been a fan of GR since the beginning and had high hopes for this game. But I admit I am disappointed. GR Wildlands was a good mix of stealth and action, with clear HUD and story was well written and motivating. I don't know why game developers feel future tech is fun within war games and believe Call of Duty finally learned this themselves....eventually. Playing with future tech is not fun. Human vs Human is, manned-vehicles, tanks and helicopters. Not drones. The Story for Breakpoint is weak to say the least. Especially since one of your team mates from Wildlands gets executed by a rogue ghost. The helos and everything the leaves the island is destroyed by flocks of birds looking drones (Like the Krill off GoW) Rating - 5/10 Rating breakdown from 10: -4 game mechanics & graphics (soldiers feet through the floors, slow frame rates, Wildlands graphics better). -2 game story & setting (future settings are awful in war games) -1 No AI teammates +1 Weapons & realism +1 map Bring back a story driven campaign for Ghost Recon, open world is good but for Ghost Recon. Take it back to its core. Not worth £50. Games are just after money, Expected more for how long its been in development.
