I was blown away in season one by how grand and complex the show was. I loved the story lines and plots. I always notice details though like the native tribes hunting and fishing. What are they eating if everything in the park is created? A wonderful scene in the first movie is a tech tech bringing a bird back to life. So when a host in role traps and kills something to eat wouldn't they seeing gears and electronics under the animals skin wake the hosts up concerning the nature of their reality?
I think the second season does a lot to show humans as petty twisted beings. The amaxing complexity of life existing at all and and sentience arising in humanity is brushed aside. We are apparently simple creatures and sentience is just a fortunate accident. I did not like how the third season and how it moves completely out of Westworld. Why would it not be a better idea to show hosts as being better than the humans. I guess because people are both goid and evil. After watching two seasons 1 episode of the third season makes me want to watch something else instead
