This book caught my attention first because I am a Mexican Daughter and the Mother of a Mexican-American Professional Girl. Sanchez made me reflect about the difficulties Women go through life, Specially if you are an immigrant and/ or If you are the daughter of an Inmigrant parents with very structured beliefs. Be prepared to laugh, to cry and to be inspired by the courage of a young teen and her hurdles, how she trusted her instincts even though everyone told her not to do so! How she was courageous,and true to herself even in the worst moments Thank you Erika Sanchez I loved your novel.
