Imitation truly is the ultimate form of flattery. And what better than an imitation with just the right amount of action, emotion and swag.
To all the Allu Arjun fans, Shehzada in no way tries to better or supersede the original Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. But what it does manage to do is unknowningly glorify the original film by its sheer simplicity, honesty and heartfelt rendition of basic human emotions. Something we may have forgotten to admire amidst the loud, sometimes irrelevant clamour of recent Hindi cinema. Greed, jealousy, love, devotion, loyalty, selflessness.. all naturally occurring human sentiments, which director Rohit Dhawan has managed to skillfully pack in the 2 hours and 22 minutes of Shehzada.
The film reaffirmed me of the goodness of the human spirit and why it is just good to be good! Enough said, action ke beech mein kahani mat pucho, simply go watch it!
