Awesome show wish i didn't need to subscribe to both Amazon Prime AND PBS to watch the Dutch version or Amazon Prime AND BritBox to watch the British version. US viewers think Adrien Monk, Monk, as a smarter, more awkward, less funny but more brilliant university professor. The Dutch version has Professor T as a professor at a major university in Antwero & the British version has him as a professor at Oxford helping the cops solve difficult crimes. His brain works like a computer solving crime but he offends everyone in his path. Starting by telling a rape victim she is too angry to help. As a rape victim myself I know i would have killed him for speaking to me like that even though he immediately knew she wasnt lying, the guy was going to do it again & he was able to solve the viol5crime that happened. It is interesting to see how his thoughts work & his struggles actually help him solve crimes
