One of the worst games I've ever bought. I made the mistake of preordering it because I was so excited for a new battlefield game. But 2042 is awful. The revamped specialist system, abilities and weapons are all terrible. Battlefield 1 is still my favourite. While I hope the franchise pulls it together and delivers in the future, I'm not hopeful. Wish I could get my money back.

This is the batman film I've waited my whole life for! It's a psychological crime thriller with some Humphrey Bogart vibes. Having been disappointed with recent interpretations of Batman, I tapered my expectations going into the cinema for this one. But midway through the opening scene you see the Riddler appear behind the mayor in a horror-style shot, and you just know the entire film is going to be brilliant. Robert Pattinson is amazing as a young, vulnerable Batman trying to make sense of his life. The soundtrack is perfect for this. And hats off to Matt Reeves and his team for creating a three hour film in which every scene has production value.
