It is by far the greatest horror game I’ve ever played! I even made a YouTube video about it I enjoyed it so much. Not only are the graphics top quality, the horror immense but the general gameplay is fantastic! Combat feels really responsive and requires strategy to be effective. Environments are so well designed and leave an impression. The game is honestly a 10/10 for what it was trying to accomplish. I genuinely believe this will be a template for other silent hill games to follow in the future and it could lead to the resurgence of the series to the level of resident evil. Its story, characters and visuals are second to none. It’s also a long experience at about 20 hours. Word of warning though, this is a very scary game! It’s non stop and you never really get a breather. This game is not for the faint of heart, so if you get it, best to play with a friend. Puzzles are also really well done and I felt such satisfaction when I got one right! Honestly if you love horror games, you cannot afford to miss this one!! A game of the year contender for sure!
