This reboot is atrocious, the reasons I strongly dislike this reboot is because of the stories, the engines are able to do 360s and jump off the tracks by themselves, and the engines could squash, and stretch, the engines use their wheels as hands, and the bouncing has got even worse. Another reason is that Thomas, Percy, Diesel, and Nina are now kids. Gordon is now a fatherly figure, and Sir Topham Hatt is now a comedic foil. Diesel is also not devious when he is supposed, like in the original show. The redesigns of the engines look awful and inconsistent. For example, Thomas’ funnel is wrong, his whistles are wrong, he has no side rods, and there is no door that lets the driver and firemen go inside his cab. And Carly went from a rolling gantry tower crane at Brendam Docks, to an crane engine with wheels. The reboot map on Sodor is inconsistent, the new map has lush countrysides, desert canyons, and jungles. The songs in this reboot are not very good. This reboot has no other consistency’s as well, for example, Gordon and James pull Annie and Clarabel when it s supposed to be Thomas’ job. Thomas, Percy, Kana, Nia, And Diesel look like narrow gauge engines when compared Gordon, Emily, James, and Kenji in this reboot. And this reboot will try to be like other kid shows. I get Thomas is for kids but there still needs to be some sort of quality control, kids may be easy to entertain but they are not stupid. Also kids and parents also don’t like this reboot, there are articles that are saying kids and parents don’t like it. There were also parents on Facebook saying they and their kids didn’t like the reboot either.The only good things about this reboot is the voices of Gordon and James, Gordon is voiced by Neil Crone, who actually voiced Gordon in Thomas And The Magic Railroad, and In my opinion, I think Luke Marty did a good job on James voice. I like that Thomas has an RWS Running board, and those are the only things I like about this reboot. Overall, this reboot is absolutely awful, and I am sticking with the Original show.
