I love this show so much. I started watching it because i was bored and it look cool and the last episode left tears in my eyes. The chemistry that Edvin and Omar have is amazing, they make the show perfect. The drama and the storyline is also perfect, with the back stabbing cousin and the royal family trying to make Wilhelm and Simons relationship look like it never existed. I would hope this show gets a season 2 because I need to know what happens between Wilhelm and Simon. For the first season only having 6 episodes the relationship between Wilhelm and Simon was portrayed wonderfully. It didn’t feel too rushed or too dragged out. This show brings a more realistic look to lgbtq+ relationship and how hard it can be to come out and the stress it brings (especially if you are going to be crown prince) and I love when Simon stands up for himself saying “I won’t be anyone’s secret”, it definitely puts Wilhelm in his place. You can also see the regret in Wilhelm in the last episode when he hugs Simon and says “Im sorry… I love you” he most definitely regretted not owing up to what happened. And something August said “I think Erik would have wanted you to be yourself” definitely made Wilhelm think a lot, but what his mother said in the car when they were heading to the castle to do the interview about the video that was leaked made Wilhelm decided to cover it up. Which made Simon totally feel betrayed. As you can see i’m obsessed with Young Royals, the last episode left me with so many questions that are begging for an answer. Everyone did an amazing job creating this show and making it seem so realistic and played out perfectly. The actors played their characters perfectly. Good job.
