Gonna be honest-this book isn't exactly a bad book. It's very dark and a lot less entertaining than other Disney reads, but I can guarantee that you'll find some enjoyment in this. The writing is one of my main praises, it's very detailed without being overly pretentious. However, let's get to the negatives-Aurora is an obnoxious brat here, even when conditions are better for her. I can get the more cynical personality seen given that the plot isn't what you'd expect, but she's just incredibly sarcastic and rude to people who genuinely look out for her and care for her. Philip isn't any better than she is. He's just a hopeless romantic-one who isn't incompetent, but he's just too lovey-dovey for her and her response is to be a piece of work far too constantly. I'm not going to say that these characters must be very accurate to their personalities in the movies, I just think that they should at least have a grasp of what these characters were meant to be originally. They feel less like a representation of who they were and more like some random trope slapped onto them.

I remember watching this film. It was shocking, unusual, and a little creepy at first, but as the plot progresses, this movie goes from what would be a creepy film to a genuinely heartwarming, sweet, and fun romp. It's got its heart in the right place. For a quick rundown, the story's about a guy trained by his grandma to be in the Tour de France. He gets kidnapped by the French mafia with other riders and the grandma has to save him with his dog. There are some dark moments (sad/meaningful scenes, death, some physical harm and slightly inappropriate scenes) but there is nothing incredibly dark.

Uh...yikes. I have no words for this movie. I was expecting so much more. The concept of a wishing star in Disney has already been elaborated on in The Princess and the Frog (a better homage to Disney) and older concept art of Star, who takes on a humanoid form, (and a much better design) has been changed to a star looking like a marketable plushie. The animation is very flawed, the lighting is off, making it look unfinished. The music is just generic and forgettable, Rosas is a stereotypical Disney town that's nothing out of Disney's comfort zone, and so many characters-oh god, the characters-are very controversial. Magnifico has good reason to keep these wishes as a means of preventing someone from realizing that they'll never have their wish granted. It's not great to make them forget their wishes, but a much more passive solution. The villain motto was just forced on him to make him appear awful and horrible just because he reasonably won't grant a wish that may just be endangering his town. Disney villains are compelling, maybe corny at times, but still pose a serious threat and let you know that they're a villain. Magnifico does not steal wishes, villagers willingly give their wishes to him. They're in his power and he decides what to do with them. Star could have been great. Asha could have been great. Her design is regal and poised, but she is just an overly quirky heroine. Valentino? I...hated that goat. Just built entirely off comic relief without actually belonging in this world and furthering the plot. Most other characters besides the main cast are utterly forgettable except for Dahlia. Overall, this is just a disappointing movie that does not feel like a celebration of 100 years of Disney and just feels like an expected and generic film.

I fondly remember watching this amazing series back in 2018, and have loved it since. There's an amazing amount of diversity to go around, very great representation, (take a look at Fire and Ice for an example) AMAZING characters with flaws and strengths, (I absolutely love Kelsey) a very immersive and lore-filled world, a comfy and at times, amazingly detailed art style, and just generally an amazing show. If you love shows like this, then this is for you.

I'm sorry, but I despised this book. I came in expecting a wholesome story about Starfire (and her self-insert daughter) and went out wishing I'd never wasted minutes of my life. So many things don't make sense, like Mandy's character design being a replica of the creator and having absolutely zero things in common with her mother. (not even a TRAIT that signifies Mandy is Starfire's daughter) The pacing is awful, the story is all over the place, and the ending is so unsatisfying. In its attempts to portray Starfire as a troubled mother who misunderstands Mandy, Starfire ended up being the best character in the entire book because she cares about Mandy's future more than Mandy herself and apologizes for getting mad at her for leaving the SAT, something that she should have never apologized for. Let's talk about the characters. Mandy's crush? Generic. Other characters? Basically don't belong. Don't even get me started on Mandy herself. She's such a bratty character that is never pleased with anything or anyone until she finally gets what she wants. As someone who liked Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me and This One Summer, this book was just utterly disappointing. The only plus is the really comfy and cute art style. However, there are some flaws in the art, but that's something I can skim over.

I went to a showing opening night on the 12th. Best. Experience. Ever. For those who like Taylor Swift, even if you didn't get to attend the concert, you'll still be blown away by the movie. Despite my theater being almost empty with no one trading bracelets, I had the time of my life. Each era sequence felt like the concerts-and the concerts at their apex-for every Era that did get a concert or not in the most glorious fashion. I'm one of those embarrassingly big Swifties who sings along to every song, and if you are, watch this. It's beautiful and will most likely make you cry. (I cried to Anti-Hero, All Too Well, and Don't Blame Me)

I first read this story before one of my graduations. Returning back to the story after a few years, my opinion on the story has changed only a little. I still love the book, the representation of those who have cerebral palsy, and the relatable characters and plot. (Especially Ms. V!) I do have a few gripes with some sections, though- *Melody's classmates from H-5 have very minor roles, except for Maria, and seeing her become friends with them would have provided a bit more depth to Melody's character. *Some of the teachers in Melody's school are misunderstood or just rude. Ms. Billups is one of these examples, and even though he's essential in the book, Mr. Dimming was not a character I liked. *I do like how the ending with Penny getting run over wasn't watered down, but still would be too much for kids to stomach. *Rose. Her following the friends shtick at the beginning of the story and then revealing how she truly is at the end was pretty sad. It seems that the only person on Melody's side by the end of the story is Connor, and they don't interact too much! Nonetheless, I do love the story, and I'm proud of its progress.

Oh god, I hate this show. I watched this episode,"The Fourth Wall." The episode started off-you guessed it- crappy as hell. Then Control Freak says, "If you don't get me an award soon, I will reboot you all!" Well damn, might as well change it back to the 2003 Teen Titans. Then that would be the best thing that ever happened to them. No more crappy animation and laziness. Then they get "high brow" and become whimsical. I muttured, "Take it back to Teen Titans Go. Right now." Oh god, they looked more bitchy than before. Then they reboot again, and I still was not satisfied. Never watch this.
