Comedy and fun keep us light, while emotional scenes though limited, make us shed a tear and glued. A movie worth watching

I saw the movie yesterday. Like Devdas (old Telugu), it is light and exiting movie in the first half. Like Savithri garu in Devdas, Keerthy is simply gorgeous and glamorous and makes us feel acting is anybody’s cup of coffee. It moves like a melodious song. Second half runs mainly around two characters and portrays the darker side of the all time great actress’ life. It is bit difficult to accept the facts though we know already. The old movie scenes reinvented by Keerty as Savithri are awesome. If one has seen the old movies of Savithri garu one will appreciate the movie more and feel more satisfied with the efforts put in by the actors and other artistes behind the screen. The supporting stars too have done absolute justice to their roles. The efforts of the story writer, producer and director in collating the instances in the life of the actress are really note worthy. Ms Keerthy looks just like that black and white movie Savithri and that is really refreshing. I am a big fan of Savithri garu and after the movie I have a feeling that Savithri is alive and is still acting in movies
