Have you ever seen a movie and couldn't wait until the sequel came out then when the sequel came out you were very disappointed or someone comes out with a smash hit song and then their second song was garbage and not good.. That's how I felt l when I saw "US". Not saying that its garbage but it was not what I expected. I have nothing but respect for Jordan Peele but he got us on this one. He's very smart young man. He made this movie hoping that you would be confused so that you would have to watch it several times which means going to the movies again or watching it on Netflix or cable. All of which brings him more money. Smart. As a fellow movie writer, I understood some of the metaphors or did I? I have heard over 50 different meanings to this movie from people I talk to. I want to hear from Jordan Peele himself about what this movie means and what's the message. I always rate movies in four categories. 4 = Pay full price ($10.00) 3 = See the matinee ($5.00) 2 = See it on Red Box ($1.50) 1 = Wait until it;s free on cable I give "US a 2.

I accidentally watched this movie when it first came out. My wife and I were fighting and not speaking at the time and we both started watching it one day. By the time the movie was over we were laughing hard as hell and had made up. We are a blended family so we watch this all the time. This is Adam Sandler's best movie IN MY OPINION. I'm not sure why critics gave it such a low score. I write movies and I will tell you that they are wrong on this one. Two thumbs up!!
