It is good, not as good as the first one but it is good and it explains why Arthur is simply Arthur. People with low IQ were expecting an action packed film revolving around Joker and Harley but it wasn't that type of movie. The main point of this movie is that Arthur simply wanted to stop being seen as Joker, he just wanted to be seen in society and not have to play a character to be recognized, it is truly as simple as that. Society literally made this man, they bullied him until the point where he lost it and got punsihed for it and also acclaimed by those who wanted to revolt in Gotham. Arthur didn't care to be some kind of symbol or representation of revolt and chaos however, he wanted to be free and to be seen, but people don't care about that and the movie itself even makes a distinction of this because clearly people in the real world are having the same reaction. They do not care about the man inside of the character they just want to be entertained like sheep. At the end of the movie it makes it pretty clear why Arthur is Arthur and Joker is actually Joker, something which could collide with future DC films.... the audience was just either too dumb to understand this and simply slapped musical on it as opposed trying to understand it or simply wanted to see suicide squad.
