Bubble Boy

I just came here to sip tea and read the Wokeaphobic comments about episode 3 😂 I knew I was going to see a lot. I am a straight male....never had a bi or gay thought but I find it hilarious how people are so triggered by LGBTQ and race swaps all the time. The funniest part is when people are pushing Christian, white nationalist, weapon and European culture agendas on us all the time there is not nearly as much whining and outrage but as soon as you have to see something you don't like you can't accept it and you become the same cancel culture you swear you hate......Food for thought...Get over yourselves

FIrst off let's address the whole woke narrative....Making movies is a business so you have to appeal to all audiences. Whining about strong female leads and diversity casting like you won't take money from women, LGBTQ and POCs at your businesses....More than half the world is women, LGBTQ and POCs so why alienate half your customer base by not at least trying to appeal to them? Closed minded people and lore-nazi super fans make up a smaller percentage of the market so there's that. Now to my actual thoughts on this mini series. I'm not a Witcher fanboy but I do like the Original series with Cavill and the games are cool (but need character customization imo easier to immerse as yourself or your own created character imo) but I felt it was a pretty good....Not super great. Should have done 8-10 episodes so they could have added some depth to the characters' back stories. I personally liked the fighting scenes because it wasn't a bouncing camera or cheesy Zack Snyder slow-mo fest. The CGI on the effects wasn't too horrid but the monsters looked terrible. Seriously....the monsters looked bad. I appreciate the wardrodes as I just watched Willow and some of the wardrobe choices in Willow are cringe. The story was kind of rushed and cliche but it works and has some decent plots. Anyways it's worth watch. Good but not great.
