It's a fun game.
Filled with enjoyable characters who are all growing, Sonic helps each of his friends to escape cyberspace while being corrupted by it. Amy, Knuckles and Tails each have great interactions with Sonic that helps us better understand the bonds between them and fleshes out their personalities and ambitions.
Dr. Eggman also develops as a father to the new character Sage, throughout the cutscenes and memos we get a look into how Sage has changed Eggman by making him more human as he learns to care for another. Sage also grows as she witnesses the interactions between Sonic and his friends.
The gameplay is easy to get used to in the open zone while also being decent in the cyberspace levels. Sonic finally uses his skills to fight against enemies, levelling up and gaining new moves as he progresses through the story. The Titan battles are exhilarating and make you feel fully immersed as you fly about battling these giant foes as super Sonic. The music, as is usually the case, is wonderful and adds to the experience a great deal.
Overall, whether you are new to the Sonic games or an old fan, Sonic frontiers will definitely be a blast to play and I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys a good single player story and fast speed gameplay.
