The show was entertaining with some interpersonal drama. Some of the cooks with the least ability skated by for a while. However, the most recent episode when there were two cooks left...SURPRISE, we are bringing back all the chefs to cook one more time. Then, they can't decide between the two chefs which had the better cook. My opinion is that they didn't get who they thought were the two best so they trumped up a "fair" second chance. My wife and I won't watch this program again nor will I the second season, if there is one. We watch many Food Network shows. All those cooks came knowing the game and still participated. The producers should have known there was a risk in not necessarily getting the best cook because of the set up. Were the producers embarrassed by whom they would send to all of the culinary "schools" in Italy? I think so.
