I really wanted to give it a 3 1/2 out of 5 but that was not available. It started very well like so many animes do. Nice world building and lovable characters. A great story and drama. No goofy comedy to distract from the action adventure which I like. But it just does not finish as well as it could have. About 6 episodes from the end it rushes things through without an adequate climax to the story. New characters are introduced very late in the story and it feels illogical and forced somehow. It feels like someone just wanted to get it over with. A classic example of animes loosing the thread towards the end.
