If you're a Batman fan you are definitely going to love this.
Pros:
The cinematography in this film is amazing, every frame seems to be planned with care. Robert Pattinson's brooding take on the batman, combined with the dull tone works in tandem to set an atmosphere that is serious and dark. Paul Dano's Riddler is such an unhinged and psychotic character that truly makes you feel disturbed. This the most grounded Batman film ever, the movie is so grounded that It'd be no surprise if events in the film were to happen in real life. The great thing about a grounded film is it feels more relatable and closer to home, it allows audience to further immerse themselves in the experience.
Cons:
I feel like the film was a bit drawn out, it tries to mash several plot points into one film. There is some pacing issue after the first hour or so, the film becomes slow and boring up until the climax. But even the climax was short and stagnates a bit, I must admit I enjoy the first half more. Although this serious tone works, It sometimes takes itself too seriously. The whole film (excluding 2 or 3 scenes) is set in rainy nights, the colour palette remains consistent for the 3 hours, and your eyes start to get a bit bored of the films look, I was hoping for a change in scenery at some point in the movie just to give it some spark and dynamics.
