biff stick

I'm giving 5 stars to this series because, as others have pointed out that lived through this era and were of the same age group, every culture reference was as on the nose as it gets. Usually there is something that doesn't seem to fit my recollection of the time,some small inconsistency but not here. Even the kid referencing the tv commercials,we did that! The clothes,decor,hair and make-up not to mention a fabulous soundtrack. I felt like I walked into a time machine. But most impressive was Elizabeth Olsen! This was an Oscar worthy performance. Her thoughts and emotions came through in every scene. And she looked so beautiful. All the cast were so authentic. The story is tragic and was handled in such a way as to give every character a clear voice and fully developed personally. Just an amazing production of a terribly sad story.
