Barnaby Tomlinson

One of the best albums in genre, even still in 2023. Deceptively complex while grooving dark riffs, some of the best drum work the band has had, punishing bass, and the most distinctive voice both singing and screaming that I think I’ve heard in this scene. All under a layer of ambience and ethereal synths, no one will ever do quite what Sybreed did, and especially not this album.
