Although the movie's symbolism is very powerful, there were many moments throughout this movie where events occured and more needed to be explained and there was just no deeper explanation to it . I left the theatre feeling somewhat empty and confused about many things.This is by far the most disappointing Disney film ever made. It did not fulfil my expectations to say the least. The movie had great potential but sadly the writers did not act on it. Throughout the film, there were many moments at the height of suspense. Unfortunately, the writers did not create a greater and more interesting climax and towards the end the plot becomes flat. I expected Maribel to journey on a grand adventure to save the house and the magic but there was just nothing. The movie just feels a bit rushed and not thought through properly.
