It’s a fun movie, in that it’s chalked full of action. That’s about it for the positives. As a long time lover of the older underworld movies, this one simply doesn’t live up to the expectation. It’s story is bland and devoid of grand writing, and the characters have a dialogue that could only satisfy a half wit. They tried much too hard in making the movie a thrill punch and somewhere along the line forgot that the movie needs a story line to continue the saga. If you’re a fan of the series you should watch it, but as a stand still movie or a climatic sequel to the beloved prequels it falls far short of substance, and is utterly disappointing in my opinion.
