Cleverly done. Not what I was expecting, and better. Made me think about what some people may feel about animal meat consumption. The feeling of revulsion that I felt watching it. I also see the parallel of women and the idea of how they are often treated as things to consume in one way or another. As if they, as a person, don't matter as long as men get what they want out of them. And lastly, with the "Women like you are the problem." comment, how women can play an active role in assisting with their own oppression and the oppression of their own. Likely due to trauma (esp considering who the comment was directed towards) but still. All in all I didn't expect to like it, and I can't honestly say that I do given the subject matter, but it is well done (no pun intended) and worth a watch at least once. Some of it is predictable for sure but for once someone did what I was yelling at them to do in a movie so that, and the premise, got this the extra star.
