This book taught me the most out of any book I have read about addiction, and I’ve read many! It’s harrowing, and made all the more by the fact some of the photos of the author’s sons are taken a stone’s throw from where I live. It’s likely that I crossed paths with them and that makes their story so poignant to me.
After reading this book, I reached out to DrugFam on several occasions and they were absolutely amazing in their support with my own struggle through watching a person I loved go through the darkness of addiction.
Addiction is a family disease and anyone affected by a loved one’s addiction should read this. It changed my life.
