Not at all happy with the new CBS Mornings format, a carbon copy of GMA's format. It's not even a halfway semi-serious show anymore. Just lots of fluff.
Case in point: This morning, when talking about the new Iceland documentary on its climate change, and the question, "what can we do about it?" came up, Tony Dokoupil's lame response was "vote". He's got to be kidding. This was a couple days after he mentioned that anytime he tries to bring up climate change with his wife, Katy Tur, she brushes it off and doesn't want to talk about it. And after the appearance of Katharine Hayhoe a couple days ago whose book suggests talking about climate change can lead to a revolution.
Vote? Talk about it? These are lazy answers to an urgent issue. "But gotta end it here because we have breaking news to report on Adele's new whatever." You are as bad as FB -- featuring more pop culture so you can attract a more important audience so you can charge more for advertising so you can make more money.
So what happens to climate change?
